96 Cabriolet

Below 3000rpm my 96 2.0 jumps and judders, but once i accelerate above 300rpm it's fine. It's been to the garage and after diagnostic checks etc he changed the ditributor cap and a sensor in the exhaust but it hasn't really work. anyone any ideas or know a good audi mechanic in essex?

is your engine an ABK?i fixed my 95 cabrio that had the same problem by replacing relay 30 up behind the dash panel below the steering on mine[right hand drive]Runs perfect now.audi part no is 165 906 381 only cost me 20euro
