Heater Matrix

My heater matrix has sprung a leak in my 1994 80 quattro saloon (2.6 v6 with aircon)
Has anyone on here done one of these? And how difficult are they to do...

Done the heater matrix this weekend, NOT NICE to do! but managed it in about 6 hours including dinner break..complete dashboard has to be removed, including centre consoles and dash clocks, all switches, radio and steering wheel and the stalks.Mines also got aircon ,so that had to be disconnected as well.

Not fun.
