My headlight switch on the wheel column is not allowing for my lights to turn on properly. If i hold the stick in between the running lights and the headlights at exactly the right point, they go on. This tells me its not the fuses or the bulbs obviously.

How can I go about adjusting this so it will turn them on properly once again? Nighttime driving is not possible right now and I have to go home for Christmas thursday night. so I need this done ASAP and am about to rip that crap open and try rewiring it. Anyone experienced this and have any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance and happy holidays.

Sorry to say - rip it out - replace it
I´m quite sure you will keep on having trouble if you try fixing it
