I have a similar dilemma myself, I'm up here in Canada and me and a co worker of mine are looking at a pair of the 3.6 V8 Quattro Audis. Both are 1990 and one has about 60,000 miles on it while the other has a tad over 90,000 miles. Both of us are debating weather they're worth trying to pick up or if they'd just end up falling apart on us, neither appears to have any rust, and both seem to be well maintained.
The latter of the two with 90,000 on it has just recently had a lot of work done, new battery, T-belt, serp belt, plugs, wires, and water pump and such. Just wondering if that's a good thing and just a regular sort of maintenance or if it might be a sign that it's coming apart at the seams. I don't know what sort of work has been done on the one with fewer miles, but I hope to have more information on it soon. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
