Default 1988 Audi Idle Problems HELP PLEASE!

HI, I have a 1988 Audi 5000cs turbo quattro and it is idling at 2500-2700 rpm's. If anybody could give me any advice or show me where to start it would be very much appreciated.

Hey I have an "85, not sure if its a quatro but mine idles fine albeit a second to start its fine. From my knowledge of Honda Error Codes I say gain access to the Audi ECU (or whatever acronym they use) and see if it flashes a couple of lights. Im sure they have a manual on how to interpret the flashes. I know that under the hood there is a sticker saying what idle speed it should be at. Im not sure if it says where you can adjust the idle speed. Just throwingout thoughts....

Thanks for the advice.... but i actually found the idle screw and turned the idle down but it would stick when i revved it up.... so i cleaned out the idle air control valve and it seems to idle perfect now.... but thanks for the help.
