Shift lever locks in park when engine starts
New problem with my '85 Audi 5000s. The shift lever locks in park when engine starts. I thought I was stranded but after carefully placing the shift lever in the "almost" foreward position of park, I was able to start engine but not have it locked in park. I'm afraid to drive it again. Can someone tell me what I can do to correct this? Thanks.
