88 5000 cs turbo electrical problems

Hello to all. Just purchased a 1988 5000 cs turbo and fell in love with it. Only small problems with it. Radio, passenger seat, heating controls, and sunroof all have electrical problems. THe suroof doesn't seem to get enough energy. The radio will not turn on. THe passenger seat controls do not work and the heating system lights up and makes a clicking noice by the glove box, but that is it. Has anyone else had these problems? I would like to try and figure this out myself, but, I do not know where to look. I have purchased a manuel via ebay and am awaiting its arrival. Help if you know. Great forum. Read almost every topic for these classic cars.

I have almost the same car just not turbo mine has all the same problems my radio stopped working the sunroof needs more power i think there are little gremlins at work some times it works some times it does'nt love my car watch out for the door handles they break easy i came across a leak in my power steering/abs brakes a bottle cost is close to 40$ canadien my email is ernieducharme@hotmail.com give me a shout if you have any questions i also have a parts car if i can help ...parts are sometime expensive or hard to find

thanks for your response. I am looking for some parts. Some cosmetic is you have. It's the vented plastic trim that is behind the back doors. I need to one on the driver's side. Also, is your heater/ac working? I'm not sure what's wrong with mine. The lights go on, but, nothing happens. Had a new radio installed, my kids need their music. Got the headphone jacks in the back to work as well as the power entenna(sp?)Once again thanks, email(dkasoff415@msn.com)
