Audi 5000 Turbo Diesel

Hi All Audi 5000 owners:
I'm new here (and new to computer forums!). I am interested in talking with owners or previous owners of the Audi 5000. Mine is a 1983 5000 Turbo Diesel. I hope one of you has some experience with this model and could help me out.

I have an 87 Audi 5000CD Turbo Quattro, not a diesel.

Just picked it up, and im very new to audis My audi needed a bit of work, but shes firing up now, just wont keep an idle.
