5ktq engine and drive hp ratings

Hello all!

I have a '88 5ktq wagon with ~140k on odo. I am wondering if any one knows how much horsepower and torque (max values?) one can add to the engine and drivetrain?...safely...I am aware that this question is a bit of a loaded one and some basic figures, a mathematical equation or even some paper resources may help. The car is my daily driver and I would like a little if not alot more oomph on tap. If any one has any info I would really appreciate it.

-I have been looking at removing the CIS and installing an 034motorsport EFI, and a new hybrid K26 in addition to a new intercooler. Thanks!

what engine do u have, is it the 5cyl turbo if it is there is like so much potential in that engine, i seem them go up to 800+ hp

but the mods ur are thinking of should satify u

I believe its the 2.22L Turbo Vin "MC". Thanks for the reply.
