?warning Lights?

We just bought a 1985 Audi 5000 S from an auction and don't have a manual for the thing. There are these warning lights that keep blinking and beeping....1 of them I figured out to be that I am out of washer fluid, 2nd one looks like a round orange bulb with an X through it and beeps 1 time but all of my lights and blinkers work, 3ed one is a red blinking Exclamation mark(!) and beeps 3 times. Hope that someone can help me out by telling me what these mean.

That must be a common thing with 85 5000's because our does the same thing.
The Haynes manual doesn't say much about the autocheck system except that falt finding and repair must be left to the dealer shop because of the need for special equipment. Still clear as mud isn't it.

I did find that you can purchase the factory owners manual from Bentley Publishing

They also have the factory repair manual in book or cd rom form. They are a bit spendy though.
