Cloud Of Smoke

When i start my car first thing in the morning it always chucks out a big cloud of smoke from the exhaust.

This is also the case every time the car is stood for long period of time.

The car is a 2.0 TDI, is this normal or is there something wrong?

As always any advise would be most welcome!

cylinder head cracked or egr cooler.Does it idle badly as well,its unlikely to be the head gasket but i have replaced 5 cylinder heads for this issue and cylinder 1 or 4 has the leak from the head.There is technical information avaliable for this poor starting white smoke so pop into audi and tell them your symptoms and they should be able to diagnose the fault.
