Unhappy 2.0FSi injector packs

I have a 2005 A3 2.0FSi (i've done 68,800 miles to date) 2 injector packs (or coils) have failed within the space of 3 weeks, the failure leaves the car stranded at the roadside- with the engine rocking like mad on its fixings, is this a common problem. There is also a 'resonance' when accelerating between 3k - 4k revs (sounds like a fast ticking noise) anyone else had such problems?..... the car is going in to Audi on wednesday to replace the temporary coils the RAC fitted.
