As stated above I have the 2004 model A3 with the two piece grill (almost a full frame grill) my question is please, does anyone know if the original Audi full frame bumper & grill (2005 model full frame) fit my car? I have a chance of purchasing one but am a bit nervous of the fitting.

best regards,

yeah i have seen it done the other day... an 2000 A3 with the face of a 2005! -

dunno if you have to reshape it etc... but the headlights, bonnet, bumper grill, wings are different... so will all need replacing..

Thanks RickT, you are quite right as I have found out from a guy in Awsome GTI.
I have seen the update for pre 2004 models on fleabay and the best I have seen for the 2004 - 2006 is a German company called Hofele and they will sell to you direct, a lot cheaper than buying here I can tell you!
This SE I have rides quite high on its 16" wheels but the comfort level is very high. I have on order a set of Team Dynamics "Equinoxe" 8 x 18's, but My Son and I both agree the ride height could look a bit daft really. I am looking to lower the thing but don't want to go too daft on it and I certainly don't want it to ride anything like my Mk 2 Golf 16v.
