Hi,
I've just ordered an A3 S-Line TDI DSG. I was wondering if any of the other owners on here know whether or not it gets launch control and what your experience of it is? Does it mention it in the owners manual, and is there a massive difference in 0-60 times? I've heard 6.5 seconds rumours!!! Cheers Robbie |

I have the 2004 TDI S Line. The launch control is only for the petrol engines using DSG. SHame though I would like it as well. By the way I still tested it and it did nothing. Maybe it can be swtiched on through the ECU but I have not come across anything that says it can yet.....

Annoying
I just got the 140 bhp diesel and read the maunal explaining about the launch control. Didnt however say that it wasnt available on the diesels so i took mine out and no doubt caused my clutches serious distress when it did not work. Wish Audi could make it clearer in their manuals.
