advise please,abs, traction lights on dash..

Hello, please can i ask some of you some advice,I have 2002 a3 tdi quattro and my darling other half ,has just told me that the abs,and traction control light's do not go out on dashboard when car is started and do not go out. I rang my local audi garage for advice and the "technician" started sounding like a man out of breath.oh ah the like but told me for £50 he could tell me fault then £55 phour could sort it,

but electric's ooh ahh,the like.

...Any information would be greatly appricated as i'm a bit worried....Many thanks calvin

i had the same problem mate..it was a wheel sensor and cost me £80 from the local garage..apparently there all connected so once the sensor is faulty the car shuts the abs and traction off..

Thank you for your reply dan, i'm not much of a mechanic ,so i've ordered both side's just to be sure.Do you know if it will self reset once fitted....Many thanks calvin....
