in not an expert but a half decent exhaust system, and a custom remap could see you over the 200 mark

ive heard mostly bad things about Revo so i personally wouldnt choose them. Their maps are allegedly quite agressive and wont do your car much good in the long run. I live in the northeast mate so i cant really advise you on local dealers! Sorry mate!

Hi I have a 1.8T quattro and have kept it as standard as possible, the germans know what there doing... All i have down is fit a induction kit and that has taken me from 180 up towards 190. My next stage would be a chip, Superchips are the best known and seem to be well recommended, though they are expensive they get the best gain and also the longest life from the engine. I plan to get this done soon and will let you know the results...

Hi I know Im new here but Ive been talking to a guy from E-Maps, and he really seems to know what he is talking about, they reckon from the 150BHP (1.8T) he can take it to 210BHP and 295NM for £375 I think he said, and thats with a full diagnostic BEFORE he starts think the wife might be getting that done soon, just for my enjoyment LOL

To be fair that seems like a rather large gain from only a remap. a usual gain from this sort of tuning is a 10-15% increase in power and a 15% increase in torque. from your 150bhp engine you would normally see 165-170bhp

i would be cautious of anyone who claims to be able to get alot more.

I guess the only way to find out is rolling road it before and after, I thought it was a big gain as well, but then superchips reckon they can get 200BHP from the same engine............
