A3 1.8T or S3???

Iv just wrote off me A3 1.8T and just wanted other opinions on whether its worth spending that extra couple of grand to get a S3?, i really belive that its worth it but just want to hear it . im looking to spend between 8-10k . I must say i was more than happy with the A3 tho. i would really appreciate any feed back. thanks

well its the big question i asked my self 3 weeks ago. the most important thing to think of here is Quottro! lol fwd against 4wd fwd will lose every time plus the fact that for tuning a fwd car u cant realy push it past 260 bhp or it handles like a dog cos the power and stearing come from front wheels meaning less grip more understear i got my 2001 210 std(remaped to 265bhp) S3 for £7k its worth waiting for the right 1 and the right seller my car has perfect service history and only 66k on the clock and looks like new apart fron the stone chips u get from that age look on auto trader and if u can get your hads on a good wood green 1 they look the tits and are very sparse on the road
