offset and width of audi wheels

I have a standard set of 15 inch wheels on my A3 with 195 tyres. Can anyone tell me what width these are and what the offset of the wheels is so that i know what offset wheels i should purchase to replace the standards.

Also has anyone got a set of 18's on an A3? If you have please can you tell me how much harsher the ride has become and if i am better of sticking to 17's? Whats the profile on the 18's?

18's in my opinion make more road noise than 17's & will be harsher but also depends on what you do to your suspension.Which you must do something to other wise, i think it looks jacked up.
The 18's tyres also cost alot more than the 17's my wheels are 7.5 J / 18 the tyres 225/40/18.
The offset i dont know.
225/45/17 on my old car but it's down to you, they do make more noise & harsher the bigger you go but its not unbearable, but it is more expensive.

The offset is 38. Go 18s and lower it! Looks better and drives better.
