Question Front wiper motor dying

My wipers on the A3 are now sweeping the screen at a much lower speed than normal no matter what speed i select on the cluster stalk.
Does this mean the motor is tired and about to die?
Is it an easy job to replace it or an Audi sort of job?Anyone replaced one ?

How do

Mine did exactly the same. Took it in and the garage said it's a common problem. Seems the wiper link arms have a tendency to corrode and go stiff. I tried plenty of lubricant but to no avail. Be careful not to shear the wiper spindle when replacing though... as you'll need new motors too otherwise!
