Anyone have any experience or advice on improving the handling of a 2002 A3 tdi sport running on 15" alloys. I'm keen to lose the sense of unease the car exhibits round long slip roads and fast sweeping corners- if possible without destroying the ride. Would 16" wheels improve the handling? Any advice much appreciated.

Go for a set of 18 " with good tyres.
With the sport suspension should grip the road like glue. You can get a decent st of ebay with tyres for around £500 delivered to your door.
