Audi A3 Oil Leak

Hi, i have noticed my caris juddering as the rev counter goes up and down.
Alos i look underneath the car and notice oil around the gearbox area. A lot of oil was seen and don't know where it is comming from.

Any advice would be good

THE JUDDERING AND REVS COULD COME FROM A DIRTY THROTLE, SO WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS GET SOME CARB CLEANER, REMOVE YOUR THROTLE BODY AND GIVE IT A GOOD CLEAN USING THE CARB CLEANER AND SOME PAPER TOWELS, MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN ALL THE INSIDE INCLUDING THE FLAP....
I HAVE JUST HAD THE SAME PROBLEM MYSELF SO I CLEANED THE THROTLE AND IT HAS RUN SWEET EVER SINCE.

Thank Sg-33 . I will give my carb a clean. But how does the oil escapes then?

i have clean the carb with a cleaner and the throtle then later the car starts to rev up when i start the engine and this stay to a point then drop down then goes up. This is worse than before, any help guy's?
