Hi to you all just joined the forum I recently bought a 97 A3 1.6 sport with the following faults that I would be gratefull for some help with. When I turn the key in the ignition the car starts but I get no lights ,indicators, and some of the warning lights stay on ie ABS,if I slightly move the key left the car still runs and everything works fine, warnings lights out, lights and indicators work!! Is this an ignition barrel fault?.Secondly when I pulled the drivers seat forward to get the kids in I cant get it to lock back into place.Lastly the temp gauge runs at 1/4 when warm on starting but when I run the car the gauge goes to zero after about 5 miles,I stop and start and the gauge goes to 1/4,then back to zero after a while could this be a temp sender fault? I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Paul
