I'm new to the forum, but I don't see anything that matches this query.

My passenger window (2001 A3) has stopped opening. It was intermittant a while ago. Of course, that means it worked when it was serviced. But now the relay clicks but nothing happens. No Motor sounds, just "click".

I took my previous Audi (1994 Audi 80) to many pieces to fix various issues (successfully), but I don't really want to start stripping this one until I know what parts I'm likely to need.

Any ideas?

Does it open using either of the window control switches, drivers side or passenger side?
I had to replace the drivers side control switch on my A4.

Unfortunately not. The Driver & Passenger switches for the Passenger window both have the same result. The relay clicks, nothing moves.

Anyone has any ideas on this?
Mine has the same clicking on the drivers side, and the window is stuck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Default window regulator

apparantly the window regulators are prone to failiure. This is the scissor mecanism within the door. hope it helps. you may have to open it up after all.
