Info On Buying A S3

Hi everone
i have just joined and i think i am about to take the plunge and purchase a 2000 s3, i am just looking for some info on what to look out for on a used car, what usualy are the common faults on the cars. any advice appreciated as i hope to buy in the next week or two.

Hi,

I don't know if you've bought yet but....

Some cars veer to the left even after tracking corrected (mine does). It's not a major problem though as the tyres all wear evenly and everything else is OK, worth mentioning though.

If you like your sound then find one with the BOSE option as the standard sound system is poor.

Thanks for the info. i havnt bought one yet. ill have to take a trip to the uk to get one i think
