Correct Lowering On An A3 To Get 18's In

Hey guys, new to this forum, ive tried searching and cant find exactly what Im after, so..........................
Im looking at doing the usual styling mod to make my 01 phaseII 1.8T look a bit better and get some 18" RS4 alloys on there (im trying to keep it looking standardish!), it looks like Ill be going for some from rochford tyres as they seem to be recommended highly, but one quick question, what lowering kit can I fit/is the best with these wheels.
I was looking at the Eibach 30mm drop springs but wasnt sure if it would work right!?!
Also one other thing is this going to destroy the handling???
Any help really appreciatted.

I think eibach would be ok because audi is working with eibach in their usual sport cars. It will not destroy your handling if you choose the right wheels.
