Unhappy desperate for English TT manual

I have a beautiful 2001 TT quattro roadster and would love to say that I am a proud owner but I don't know how anything (especially navigation system) works as I don't have an English manual. The car came from Germany and was originally owned by a german who sold it to the french guy I bought it from. Consquently I have french and german manuals but not english! I contacted Audi France who said ring UK. I contacted Audi UK and they said ring France. When I said I had done this they said ring Germany. Audi Germany also said ring UK and when I told them I had already rung UK and France they said that the manual has to come from France. Audi Germany have emailed France several times in an attempt to get them to contact me direct but although I have now phoned Germany 5 times and explained that I have had no contact they still say that they can't help me direct. No doubt if I lived in Germany I could get a manual so I don't see what the problem is. The french are notoriously unhelpful when it comes to things like this and I am now getting desperate. Can anyone help or advise what I can do next.
Many thanks

Hello ,
If you are looking for a service manual in english I purchased one from Amazon.co.uk recently . It is produced by Bentley Publishers . Its about 50mm thick and covers everything about the TT . I think its very good . a little expensive at circa 40 pounds but at the same time a very useful read that will save you money going forward if you like DIY .

Forget the Nav system on the 01 TT. I used to have one and that thing is totally useless and very primitive compared to todays systems. Get yourself a Tom Tom 720 or a Garmin Nuvi 350 or better and you will have a much more advance and functional Nav system that is upgradable. The TT's Nav system works off the CD's which you have to swap and it was not very accurate to start.

As far as the manual goes check E-bay they have them all the time.

Good Luck
