Default Baseball Seats - Metal Pieces

Hello - I'm new...

I have a 2004 Audi TT Roadster that I had serviced at the dealership to fix some rattling noises around the headrest area, among other things. I have Baseball Seats and I noticed on the passenger seat 2 metal square rings protruding out from the base of the seat. I never noticed these before.

They say they are for a baby car seat. But I think they moved something when they adjusted my seat and now these things show.

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures to post at this time, but all my research on the baseball interiors - none show any metal pieces.

Can you help me out as to what they are? It is again at the dealership.

Thanks.
