2001 tt date display stuck???

Hi all
in process of buying 225bhp coupe tt 2001 model but the cars date display on the dashboard is stuck on 2001 ,urgently need to know if this is a common problem,ease of repair and if it is costly,any advice

the only answar is a new dash panel insert sorry! but yes it is a common fault, i'd maybe learn to live with it!

I believe the dash pod including the fuel gauge etc is now a free replacement part for the TT due to it's problems.....
Phone AUDI Uk and ask them, you could buy it then put it in to a /audi garage for free fixing!
