HI all, im new to tts. been used to working on toyotas and various english cars.
the other day on the highway it started getting hot, by the time I got home it had just tripped the warning light. Now it gets hot just taking short grocery jonts. I dont think my fans are coming on. Is there a way to manually trip them to come on ? Im trying to rule out the water pump as I dont really feel like changing it just yet, but Ive read that they are weak and fail regularly. but how can I test the pump? |

I figured out that the fans do work. Turning on the ac turns on the fans, so i guess they are ok. I will pop the hose off and check to see how much coolant is getting circulated..
if I dont get any flow im assuming that the pump has failed or the tstat is stuck closed? |
