You should use fully synthetic oil.

Castrol Edge fully syntheic 5 30W, or Castrol magnatec 5 30w is good stuff. Not cheap but it is good.

Default i use

i use royal purple,5w30, with K&N filter hp-2005. oil changes on audis can be time consuming, removing the belly cover, then having to find a nice proper way to reach the filter. If possible, is here an easy way to maybe remove something from the engine bay temporarily to reach the filter. It may be easier and less of a mess. Also do any companys produce an oil filter relocation kit that anyone knows of?
