180 or 225 ?

just purchased 03 tt awd. how can i know if it is 180 or 225

I have only had it for a few days.trying to learn all the bells and whistles. It's a quattro manual 6 speed with dual tail exhausts,there is no emblem that says 225. the dealer did not know. thanks for replying

OK if you open up the hood and look to the left of the engine cover there should be a pipe with a sticker on it with a hand inside of a circle being crossed out. also the itake manifold opening to the throttle body is to the right. (this is right in front of the engine cover) IF THIS IS TRUE FOR YOU THAN YOU HAVE A 225 HP, IF NOT THAN YOUR CAR IS 180HP. and there ya go.

thanks so much, I do believe it is a 225. the do not touch crossed out hand is on left side, silver manifold in front connects on right side to large hose. lucky me!
