Taking the tray down was most of the battle...took like 10 minutes. Its an extremely easy DIY. Once you take the tray down the oil drain is on the front left hand side of the car. The plug itself faces towards the backside of the car. As for the filter it is in the front of the car. It is quite difficult to get at from the top of the car, best is to lay under the car and near the front left handside of the car and reach up...super easy.
Remember when putting the new filter on to put oil in the filter. (Clean new oil) ...your pump has to send oil to it before it gets to your engine...if you dont put oil in it..you might have a dry start ...this is better for your car.Hope this helps! ~Chris |
