Intercooler Question

Would it be a benifit to get a FMIC on my stock turbo rather than keeping the 2 side mounts? Its a 225 so I have the K04.

it would be becasue there will be more surface that can cool the air but u will be blocking the radiator

the main reason i asked was b/c with in month or two im getting a GT28R turbo and the GIAC ecu. The intercooler i can get it from a friend now. Its a universal intercooler. Should i install the intercooler now or wait for the GT28?

the core might be universal but u need piping for the intercooler
since ur goin with a big turbo like the GT28RS i say u should upgrade to a FMIC
