can you unhook the stock bov on the 00 audi tt 180hp?

I wanted to see if it is possible to unhook the stock bov so it can release the extra boost into the atmospher and not back into the charge pipe? Let me know so I dont have to spend $150 just to get the bov sound when there is already a bov in the car. Thanks Guys

you have a Diverter valve not a BOV and theres no way u can turn it in to a BOV, u have to buy a BOV but BOV are not recommened for our cars, it causes us to run rich

So there is no safe way get the bov sound without messing up the engine?
