Hi, having some over-heating problems lately in traffic etc. that have only started since the timing chain was done. (water pump removed during) The garage say its more than likely a failed sensor (fan doesn't come on untill 98 degrees) but will have to trouble shoot (to the tune of several hundred euro) with no guarantee of success. Having already spent €1000 on the timing chain in labour, some opinions would be great.

I am going to get my timing belt done this week. Every U.S Audi dealers want 1,600 dollars to do so. I am also having overheating problems when in hot weather traffic and was stupid to keep on driving thinking that it is normal for an Audi, I never owned an Audi before.
