I have a new 3.2 TT (2006).
The brakes squeal at low speeds (reversing out of the driveway etc). The dealer says everything is fine and up to spec but I can't stand the sound. I also don't believe the excuse of mild corrosion as I drive the car 40 to 80 kms each day. Can it really be corroding over night? Any thoughts out there? |

The car is stock. They say everything is to spec. I had them check it again.
My A4 never had this issue, but my brother has a brand new A4 and he claims to have it a bit. Not as much as I have. It is not persistent, but it happens almost everyday. It never happens at high speed, only low speeds. It really is just annoying. I don't buy the corrosion story either. Like I said I drive the car 4o to 80 KMS a day (5 days a week). Perhaps Canadian cars have different pads spec'd? |
