Does anyone have any personal experience w/ Neuspeeds P-chip in a 225 TT Quattro? It seems to be the most reasonble of the $500+chipping bunch @ $280 thru imotorgear.com. Other than a beefier dv, this will be my first mod.
Any tips/warnings on ECU removal under wiper flashing? I have to send it to CA for them to flash (no local dealers in TN). |

Well, I would have prefered that (less-invasive) but no local computer flashing available--I pulled out ECU after much consternation (couldnt get wipers to budge) so had little clearance under sill but got it out sent to CA to Herr Neumann. 2 days later installed Neuspeed upgrade and have to adjust my lead foot now. Noticed difference immediately
I am glad I went that route--would rec. imotorgear.com for the Neuspeed 1.0 bar chip--$ 279 HAvent noticed any detonation probs, although Neuspeed noted that I should consider running Denso Iridium plugs IK22 (colder plug) to prevent that from ocurring. |
