Has anyone experience of run flat's?
I have a 3.2Q and no spare, just a pump and sealer.
I understand tire monitoring is really needed, but has one fitted a system to a TT?

Audi got back to me today with a no to a tire monitoring system for TT's.
Run flats are not recommended as you will not know if they are out of air, until it is too late.

Thumbs down

Did the car come fitted with them?? there is some new law thats come in now which states the car needs to have a onboard tyre pressure monitor as standard if run flats are been used -- -

if the car did come with them i would get start onto Audi and ask questions.... (As I thought this was the law in the US before coming to the UK)

I cant remember where i have seen this but it was on TV -- i will do some digging...

Cheers

Thanks for the help, run flats are not on the car I have been looking for winter tires and was wondering if run flats could be installed.

I had also come to the same conclusion that the monitoring is required for run flats, so I just ordered standard tire and will have to rely on the included pump and sealer modules.
