I'm on my fourth radio/CD player in my 2002 TT. Dealer has replaced all under warranty, but as warranty will soon expire, I don't want to have to pay for future "replacements" if this is a fault in the electrical system that is not being repaired. Anyone else experiencing this and if so, what is Audi telling you about it?

Hi eloss, welcome to the forum. I have not seen any posts about radio specific problems that you are having. I have had no problems with mine. Are they able to tell you what is going wrong? It sounds more like an associated electrical fault to me affecting the radio; it seems highly improbable that every replacement radio has an inherent fault. Suggest to the dealer that if the fault continues, you are going to demand a replacement even after the warrenty is up, since it is clear that they are not fixing the root cause. |
