Does it depend on plugs, repair?

I can't get a solid price for repair, because of spark plugs. The 1st time I asked them for a price I was quote £328 all in. Nice price I thought, so I booked it in. However since then I called again just to check, and I was quoted £372!!

She said there are 2 different prices, depending on which spark plugs I need!?!? And they wouldn't know which I need until they can look at it.

Is this true? Has any one else heard of this?

I see the dilemna you are having about plugs. They want to charge more for a basic repair, and I've not heard of different plugs.... they are ngk platinums AFAIK.

How can 4 different plugs cost and additional £10.50 each.....the NGK's are £10.50 each anyway!

This has me a bit worried. This car is getting repaired and I am afraid of paying some inflated price just because of some plugs... I'm gonna have a good chat with them tomorrow.

Just for my knowledge, are those NGK's the best plugs Audi do?
