Bought a Certified 2006 A4 Quattro 2.0w/ 22,000 miles on it 5-27-08 from an Audi dealer. Dealer Certification indicated 70% brakes left on front/60% left on rear. 4,000 miles later brake warning is on and dealer says front brakes and rotors need replacing. They say no probs. w/ calipers or anything else - just "typical wear". Does anyone else think this is ludicrous? What's the AVERAGE life on brakes & rotors for this vehicle? Have had other issues w/ which checklist said were fine and working and definitely weren't. Not happy with the "certified" experience.
