Default Audi Alarm Goin Haywire

This happened to me also. I tried forever to figure it out. It seemed like whenever i left any windows down at all the alarm would go off at random all day. Whenever it was shut up tight i did not have this problem. I reluctantly went to my local audi dealer and the tech told me that this is because there is small sensors on the top of side pillars right around your head that detect any motion or even wind can set it off. He also told me he could hook up to his com unit and adjust the sensitivity, but could not turn it off completely so i had him adjust the setting in comp for me. He said the only way to turn the sensors off is a small button around bottom of drivers seat but u have to push it every time you arm the car. Anyway, i'm not sure if your problem is the same but my alarm doesn't go off at random any more.
