It must be your driving style ! :-) I get an average of over 50mpg according to the Driver information pack. This is a 2001 130bhp A4 TDi Sports too. Get it hooked up to a diagnostic setup and I'll bet a sensor isn't working properly. Do you wear out tyres and brakes fast as well? That can be a clue :-)
