Hi
I need to remove the battery from my '02 A4 3.0L Cabriolet.
I have a serious water flood coming into the passenger footwell and I think I need to lift out the battery to clear the drain holes?
I have removed the long top cover and disconnected the battery. However I cannot see how the battery is secured in place. There appears to be a plastic strip (on the rear of dash firewall?) along the back bottom edge behind the battery that the battery case bottom lip appears to be wedged under. This make me think I should be able to tilt the front of the battery slightly and lift it out, however it is fixed in position.
Can anyone tell me how to release the battery?
