Everywhere around the world it's the same problem. A combination of VW design, unwise usage and not respecting the maintenance interval.
Only advise I can give is to find a skilled mechanic. 3 of those so-called expert all diagnosed wrong. (1 just put half synth oil in and the other wanted to change the drive chain
