Really good news , glad its better, I know how you feel to have an Audi thats not right, I had an A6 which was pinking like mad for about 3 months before the dealer 'relented' and replaced the air mass sensor. And that was out of warrently - they did end up giving me the labour for free though due to be amount of messing around and the fact their engineers didn't seem to know what pinking was and that the air mass sensor problem could cause it!!!
