The product we bou!ht was sold with a known fault and we were not notified of this when makin! the purchase decision NOR after when we could have taken advanta!e of 100% compensation - it's not about expectations, it's about fitness for purpose and 'hidin!' a known problem cos if they recalled, they'd be in for a few million in tyres....or we'd all buy somethin else if told up front....
