intermittent power ailure A3
Many thanks to all those who joined in this thread. There does not seem to be a single answer to the problem and hence the conflicting advice or ignorance of Audi dealers when asked for a diagnosis. May be because cars are becoming so much more complicated they mirrror the diagnostic problems of the human body. How many possible diagnoses are there for a pain in the gut for instance. Fortuanetly we have a slow but free NHS to find the answers. Us motorists out of warranty have to foot the bills until the problem is found and put right.
My A3 has not presented the loss of power symptons since the journey from York to Peterborough in January. Maybe it has sorted iself out or the circumstnces of the journey have not been repeatedTime will tell.
I will post any further develoments to this thread but in the meantime keep yur fingers crossed.
