Hey, I have the same problem, but i've had it for some time now. I cycled my purge valve with my vag comm program and it clicks the same way, which means its working. But on other forum websites, they say that a new purge valve is a common fix for that code. You can also run your meas. block while driving around and monitor your purge valve on a graph and watch it open and close as neccessary. I dont have the fumes in my car, but i've come to ignore it for now, doesn't really affect my car. You can find the purge valves for pretty cheap on ebay.
