SINGERCHEME is on a distinguished road

I am having the same issue with my 2007 A4 2.0T. I have done some research and I think it is the Diverter Valve. The 2007's come with a series C and there is a more durable series G that is OEM that will better perform. The cause is a tear in the diaphragm. It may seem that you have a rev limiter at 4000-4500 Rpm. The Diaphragm series G costs around $65 and is very easy to replace with a lift or on jacks.
Good luck!!!
